To My Grandmother

Family and Friends • December 22, 2022

My dedication is for a woman who meant the world to me.

She was an angel in disguise, she was my best friend, she was my shoulder to lean on... she was my grandmother.

My grandmother, Jean Watson, was a woman who everyone knew and loved. I can remember how it didn't matter where we went, someone knew her. They would always greet her with a smile and a tight hug. I would just stand there with the biggest smile on my face because the woman that they respected so much was MY grandmother. She touched so many people while she was here. She would give you her last if you needed it. I loved that about her and that set an example for me as well.

I also loved the time that I would spend with her. I actually think we all (all of my cousins) did. We would get together at grandmas house and have the best time. I sit back now and think about how blessed I was to have that time with her. Even though she's not here with me physically, she is in my thoughts and my heart.

The thought of her and the memories I have of her has gotten me through so many hard times and for that I am forever grateful. She is my hero and my guardian angel. Thank you grandma for helping me to become the woman I am today.

I will forever love and miss you.
