Adeena Blumenfeld

My dedication is to my mother.  She raises me and my younger brothers up all by herself and always has a big smile on her face, endless patience and so much love in her heart.  My mother teaches me that no matter where you came from and no matter what you've been through, you can achieve your highest dreams.  She inspires me to find my talent and practice everyday, she says; practice makes progress!

EW Waddell Bettye Waddell

E.W. & Bettye Waddell

In dedication to the late EW & Bettye Waddell the anchors for the Waddell, Quarles, Catlett and Moore families always had a open door to the community.  E.W., a construction worker left home before the sun rose and arrived home after dark, consistently giving unyielding love and support to his family and friends.  Bettye a server at the local nursing home provided the structure as only a mother/grandmother could, teaching the principles of love and respect to all that encountered her.  Together they were the “nucleus”, keeping all the family members together, providing the community with love, food and shelter whenever in need.  Raising all of their children and grandchildren providing the needed structure giving all the foundation for a happy life.  As ambassadors of the community their impacts were immeasurable and sorely missed.  To all that are blessed to read these words, I pray that this motivates you to reunite your families stronger than ever, set aside differences and live life as if E.W and Bettye was still here with us on a Easter Sunday celebrating life, togetherness & happiness.  You are here in our hearts and spirits forever, we love you!

Jean Watson

My dedication is for a woman who meant the world to me. She was an angel in disguise, she was my best friend, she was my shoulder to lean on... she was my grandmother. My grandmother, Jean Watson, was a woman who everyone knew and loved. I can remember how it didn't matter where we went, someone knew her. They would always greet her with a smile and a tight hug. I would just stand there with the biggest smile on my face because the woman that they respected so much was MY grandmother. She touched so many people while she was here. She would give you her last if you needed it. I loved that about her and that set an example for me as well. I also loved the time that I would spend with her. I actually think we all (all of my cousins) did. We would get together at grandmas house and have the best time. I sit back now and think about how blessed I was to have that time with her. Even though she's not here with me physically, she is in my thoughts and my heart. The thought of her and the memories I have of her has gotten me through so many hard times and for that I am forever grateful. She is my hero and my guardian angel. Thank you grandma for helping me to become the woman I am today. I will forever love and miss you.
